The Friends star showed off her perfect pins and shapely shoulders in a strapless mini, studded with black beads at the Directors Guild Awards in Los Angeles. And she finished off the look with strappy sandals which revealed her black toenail polish.

The 42-year-old perfectly complemented hunky boyfriend Justin Theroux, who dressed in his usual black from head to toe. And the stunning couple were all smiles as they hit the event at the Grand Ballroom at the Hollywood and Highland Centre.
The annual award ceremony was also attended by The Descendants star George Clooney and his 16-year-old co-star Shailene Woodley. The teenager plays his daughter in the Oscar-nominated movie, about a land baron trying to connect with his children after his wife is left in a coma. Rum Diary star Amber Heard looked stunning in a floor-length black dress, with a split up the front, and black peep-toe shoes.
And Helen Mirren showed the younger actresses there is nothing like a Dame, by shimmering in a gorgeous gold gown which flattered her enviable figure. Laura Dern played it safe in a black outfit that covered everything but Michelle Williams chose a beautiful assymetrical Chanel dress with gold trimming. The My Week With Marilyn star took to the stage to present the Best Documentary Director Award, which went to Brit James Marsh for his film Project Nim.
And as he was unable to attend, Michelle collected it on his behalf. The Artist director Michel Hazanavicius bagged pole position in the Oscars race after winning the biggest gong of the night. He beat Hollywood heavyweights Woody Allen, nominated for Midnight in Paris, Hugo's Martin Scorsese, David Fincher for The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo and The Descendants filmmaker Alexander Payne to the Best Director prize.
The trophy ups the chances of the Frenchman taking home the Academy Award on February 26. The winner of the DGA has gone on to win the Best Director Oscar all but six times since the guild began handing out awards in 1949.
Accepting his prize, Hazanavicius said, "It's maybe the highest recognition I could hope for. Maybe you noticed, but I'm French. I have an accent. I have a name that is very difficult to pronounce. I'm not American and I'm not French, actually - I'm a film-maker... "I feel like I'm being accepted by you, not as Americans, but as film-makers. This is really very moving and very touching for me."
The guild's choice for Best Director has also been the person behind the Oscars' Best Picture 50 times. Last year's winner, Brit Tom Hooper went on to land the Best Director and Best Picture for The King's Speech. The Artist has been nominated in 10 categories, including Best Director and Best Picture, at the upcoming Academy Awards.
