Jennifer Aniston is  lone and childless. Get over it, planet: We bet Jennifer Aniston's regretting the day in 2008 when she said being a mother was "something I long for" as it seems to come back to bite her in the perfectly toned and pert bum on an hourly basis. Mind you, if she did have kids, we doubt her bum would be quite so toned and pert.

Anyway, Jen's doing the interview rounds this week because she's made some new mediocre romcom that we'll probably love. And naturally, since it's a smidgen more interesting (but just as tired) as talk about her hair, she gets quizzed about her lack of husband and screaming brats everywhere she goes. But at least good old Ellen gave her the opportunity to be all cute and funny about it.

"Are you going to adopt another dog?" she asked, to which Jen responded "I think you're confusing that with the Mexican child I'm supposedly adopting" before quipping (oh, you've got to love a rehearsed "quip"), "Adam Sandler adopted four last week and that never even got mentioned. No, I'm not adopting any children. And no doggies right now."

... all of which was a little more humorous than the statement her people issued last week to deny the latest round of rumours. "Jennifer is not adopting a baby from Mexico, nor does she have a nursery in her home and she has not hired a nanny. It is all a work of fiction."

Good. For god's sake, she's Jennifer bloody Aniston, we're sure life is pretty great without having baby sick smeared on every single one of her crisp white vest tops.
