According to USA Today, Aniston, while pimping her signature fragrance at a photocall in Mexico City last week, said she’s gearing up to play a country music singer in her next flick.

Aniston will star in the fact-based movie about an all-female country-western band (The Goree Girls) that formed at a Texas prison in the 1940s – or as Aniston put it, a group of singers who were “sort of the Dixie Chicks of their time.

PopEater reports that Aniston is keen to co-produce the musical project which has been on the boil since 2007. Kelly Rowland, Pam Tillis and Ellen Pompeo are other names reportedly attached to the project. So can Aniston actually carry a tune?
