The 'Horrible Bosses' star - who is currently dating 'Your Highness' actor Justin Theroux - invited a select group of friends round to the Beverly Hills home to say goodbye to the property before she relocates to New York.
A source told People magazine: "Jen had a party at her Beverly Hills house Friday night - a little going away party since she plans on spending so much more time in New York. "She just wanted to have one more great get together with friends at the house before she moved out."
Jennifer and Justin have reportedly begun looking at a number of mansions to replace the one she has sold, and in late July were looking at up to six a day, including Ellen DeGeneres and Portia De Rossi's house. In April, the former 'Friends' beauty purchased the 17th and 18th floors of an apartment building in New York for more than $7 million, but she is said to still be keen to keep a base in Los Angeles.
