Jennifer Aniston and Brad Pitt have reportedly been asked to present a gong together at next year’s Oscars. The former couple’s friend Brett Ratner has landed the job of producing the show and apparently wants Brad and Jen to appear side by side for the first time since their divorce in 2005. “They're both considering it,” a source told Now magazine. “Brett knows that getting them on the podium together will make the ceremony the most talked about one ever.”
Relations are believed to have been strained since Brad appeared to imply that Jen was ‘dull’ in an interview in August, and they’re said to be keen to show the world that they’re still friends. But one person that might not be so thrilled is Brad’s partner Angelina Jolie. “They hate the fact that the world thinks they're at war,” said the insider. “The only problem is that Ange will be furious.”
