This has been going on for years, Jennifer Aniston has a baby bump according to one magazine or another.  However, she doesn't.  She is slim and trim not appearing pregnant.  One must certainly ask why in the world does everyone seem to want her to be pregnant.

I have been wondering about this for some time and think I have determine the reason for the pregnancy desire for Jennifer Aniston.  For years she has captivated us on the television screen as Rachel Green and she seemed so happy when she was pregnant for the show.  She was married to Brad Pitt until he left her for Angelina Jolie and expanded Jolie's family.  One must assume that her heart was broken and she felt very lonely. It is often the belief of others especially women that children will relieve a

broken heart and loneliness.

There is something about her desire to fulfill her career aspirations.  She does movies and advertisement campaigns that show off her body.  She is in great shape for her age and appears to be enjoying her life at this time.  Why are we looking at changing her to meet our desired expectations to make us happy?  We expect her to have children because having children is what everyone should be doing.  But is that fair?

What are we telling our children when we set expectations such as these on women?  We are telling them to have children as this is your only manner in which you can feel fulfilled.  You should not focus on your career more than building a family.  What if you do no have the ability to have children, pay for fertility treatments, could not afford to adopt and had no husband or long term partner?  Are you less fulfilled in your life

because you had focused on other aspects of your life?  No, you are not.
