Jennifer Aniston HairStyle: Purportedly By Salon: Jennifer Aniston has experienced worse things at the salon than being asked if she'd like "The Rachel" (no, that particular fate is just for us plebes). The actress has been named as a victim -- one of several VIPs, it turns out -- in a credit-card scam that was allegedly run out of a salon as famous for its A-list clients (Cher! Halle!...Bill Clinton?) as its facial treatments.

The owner of Beverly Hills' Chez Gabriela Studio, 51-year-old Maria Gabriella Perez, was arrested Wednesday on charges of credit card theft, ABC reports. According to a court doc obtained by ABC, she's accused of stealing approximately $280,000 US from clients in one year. Aniston is named in the case along with fellow famous-types Anne Hathaway, Liv Tyler, Cher, Melanie Griffith and Scott Speedman -- suggesting this was an equal-opportunity scam, preying on any celebrity regardless of A or D-list status.
To wit: Liv Tyler is said to have been hit the hardest, as ABC reports Perez allegedly racked up $214,000 on the LOTR star's charge card.
As for how this scam went down, ABC reports that Perez is accused of keeping her paying clients' credit card info, which she used for things other than hair and facial fees at later dates.
On Good Morning America Thursday, Aniston stated that she saw the salon owner's arrest coming.
"We had a situation that was not cool so I just stopped going to her," Aniston, who quit visiting the salon five years ago, said on the program. "I knew something like this would eventually happen because there's no way you can get away with that. It's terrible."
Perez faces a maximum sentence of 25 years in prison if she is found guilty of two counts of fraud, Us Weekly reports. Her lawyer, Jerod Gunsberg, told ABC News that Perez runs "a legitimate business.""We fully expect that once all the facts come out that she will be exonerated of all the charges, and she is innocent," he said.
